Westminster - A Huntington Beach police officer on a motorcycle was injured when a minivan crashed and hit him on the 405 Freeway, reports said.
Reports said the rear-end accident occurred while the police officer was attending to another minor traffic accident. The driver of the minivan said she was distracted while ‘putting down a banana’ in her vehicle and did not have enough time to slow down for the police motorcycle and hit it from behind.
The injured officer was transported to a local hospital with back pain but with no-life threatening injuries.
