Kern Plane Crash Claims Life of Palmdale Pilot

Bakersfield - A 65-year old man from Palmdale died after the plane he was flying crashed in Kern county, authorities said.

The Kern County Sheriff said the accident occurred early afternoon in December 10 when they were alerted to reports of single-engine plane crash near Dove Spring in the Mojave area. Police later identified the victim as Richard Hames Crosley.

The cause of the crash is still unknown.
