Ex-Miss USA Nabbed for Drunk Driving in Highland

Highland Park - Authorities have arrested Rima Fakih, the first Arab-American to become Miss USA in 2010, after her blood alcohol level was found to be over the legal limit and carrying a half-empty bottle of champagne while driving her 2011 Jaguar in the town of Highland, reports said.

Police officers said the Lebanese-born beauty was pulled over for going 60 mph, weaving through traffic and changing lanes without signaling. When subjected to breathalyzer test, her blood alcohol level was found to be .20 as police said they found a half-empty of champagne on the floorboard behind the driver’s seat.

Fakih denied she knew about the open champagne bottle found inside her car.

But the lawyer of the 26-year old beauty later said his client was ‘very saddened and apologetic’ about the incident.

Fakih has appeared in various WWE production and aspires to become a professional wrestler. She starred with Hugh Jackman recently in “Real Steel”.
