Police Investigates Kid’s Death in Fresno Rollover Crash

Fresno – Authorities are investigating the cause of an accident that resulted in the death of a 7-year-old boy when the vehicle he was riding rolled over in the foothills of Fresno near Well Barn Road, reports said.

Reports indicate that the boy was a backseat passenger of a 2003 Nissan Maxima that was heading south around 10:47 a.m. when the driver, 41-year-old Melanie Sullivan, suddenly stopped the vehicle upon seeing a northbound vehicle. The vehicle then rolled over down an embankment.

Sullivan was taken to Clovis Community Hospital to be treated for her minor injuries. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
