Crash with Big Rig Injures 2 LAPD Officers

Los Angeles, CA - Two Los Angeles Police Officers were injured when their patrol car crashed into a big rig at Jefferson Park Area, Thursday morning, October 9.
The accident, which happened about 6.30 a.m. at Western Avenue and 35th Street, left the front of the cruiser wedged under the truck’s trailer and firefighters had to free one of the LAPD officers from the wreckage.
The collision caused injuries to the two officers and they were treated at a hospital.
The police officer driving the car suffered a concussion and lacerations while the other incurred a broken right collarbone, lacerations and possible concussion.
The cause of the car crash is still under investigation.
